Worcestershire County Council has pledged to make its digital assets available as open-source for re-use by any public sector organisation - enabling others to immediately achieve the dramatic improvements in efficiency, agility and cost-effectiveness that the council is already realising. The Copy Certificate application enables citizens to request a Birth Certificate, a Marriage Certificate, a Civil Partnership Certificate or a Death Certificate. For each request, the citizen selects the processing type and the delivery service, and then makes the payment online via any device. The staff screen allows to manage the app from the backend (e.g., delivery services, certificate processing services, prices...), as well as to make a copy certificate request (e.g., someone walks in the venue and requests a certificate to a member of staff).
